IT Self Service

Use IT Self Service (login required) to:

  • Report an issue if something is not working
  • Make a request if there is something you need, such as equipment or access to a system
  • See the status of you current Support Requests under My IT Support Requests

Help Zone in the Library

If you would like to see someone in person, IT support is provided in the Help Zone on the Ground Floor of the University Library seven days a week during these times:

Help at the Helpzone is not available on bank holidays and some closure periods, when the Library is closed.

IT Service Desk

You can phone the IT Service Desk on 0116 252 2253, for any problems with your computer, programs or desk phone. If the issue is not urgent, send an email to ithelp@le.ac.uk.

The IT Service desk is open Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 5.00pm UK time, except bank holidays and some closure days. Staff meetings are held every other Friday from 3.30 until 4.30pm. The IT Service Desk will reopen at 4.30pm for half an hour.

Escalation

If you need to escalate an issue that you have already reported, phone the IT Service Desk on 0116 252 2253. You can ask to speak to the IT Service Desk manager, Ismail Patel.

We are always looking for ways to improve the IT facilities at the University. Your feedback is invaluable to us, be that a comment, suggestion, concern, compliment or formal complaint.
